Day 11

Float vs. Inline

I discovered the advantages and disadvantages of both. For the most part, float has a lot more advantage over Display:Inline. I noticed that Display:Inline is creating a space while Float does not.

Best solution for Display: Inline is to remove the spaces on the codes between new
and another
. This will completely remove the space between elements.

What if we are using CMS? Then you may set ul’s font-size to 0, but this will not work for IE7 as it will still have a “very little space”.

Therefore, it’s best to use float when you’re using CMS.
